93 - German M1871 bayonet from the 56th Reserve Regiment. Flat-backed blade with a hollow edge, heavily cleaned, with remnants of a manufacturer’s mark from Suhl and dated 1875. Fluted brass handle with a functional spring-loaded pommel. Crossguard and pommel bear the same marking: 56 R (cursive) R.1,37, indicating the 37th weapon of the 1st Company of the 56th Reserve Infantry Regiment. Leather scabbard with brass fittings.
