Jean Cocteau (French, 1889-1963) Le Jeune Poète, c. 1930-1935 ink on paper signed Jean and with star insignia (lower left) sheet: 10 1/2 x 8 1/4 in. (26.7 x 21 cm) This lot is located in Philadelphia. Framed: 18 1/2 x 15 1/2 in. Sheet is affixed to backmat with one piece of archival tape on the upper and lower right, and lower left verso corners, with the upper left sheet corner detached. Uneven discoloration along the upper edge. Soft handling creases in scattered areas, due to the thin nature of the paper. Additional images available upon request.
