Dorothea Sharp (British, 1874-1955) Roses and Michaelmas Daisies in a Blue Vase oil on board initialed D.S. (lower right) 18 x 14 1/2 in. (45.7 x 36.8 cm) This lot is located in Philadelphia. Framed: 21 1/4 x 17 1/2 in. Minor deposits of surface dirt and dust; a very small, localized area of paint losses along the upper left edge; one small area of inpainting in the upper right corner, visible under normal viewing conditions; otherwise appears in overall good and stable condition. Under UV light: the aforementioned area of inpainting fluoresces, otherwise no other apparent inpainting is visible. Additional images available upon request. Provenance: Clarges Gallery, London.
