Set of 4 vintage boxes: - Motta, Milan, Italy, 1960s. Rectangular lithographed tin candy box from the Pinocchio / Le favole di Pinocchio series, decorated with a brightly colored fishing scene. Blue background. The reverse side is printed with an excerpt from the story in Italian, along with the text “PINOCCHIO,” “Motta Milan Italy,” “Assortment of Wrapped Filled Boiled Sugars,” and “Net Weight: 6 11/16 oz.” Signs of wear and tear from use. - Rectangular lithographed tin candy box, Motta, Milan, 1960s. Polychrome design depicting Pinocchio at school; reverse side features text in Italian and English, the Motta brand name, the notation “Stabilimento di Milano,” an assortment of filled candies, and a net weight of 190 g.
