BALTRUCHAITIS, Jurgis Kasimirovich (1873–1944) Lot consisting of: - A complete galley proof of the second collection of poems, "Mountain Path - Горная тропа," in Russian, 162 pages, divided into 6 sections - Fragments of galley proofs and a copy of the collection "Mountain Path — Горная тропа" sent by the author to the V. Voronov printing house for proofreading. The proof is dated February 28, 1912, with the note "Correct and set the page // J. Baltr." The copy returned by the printing house is annotated on three pages: - Before the title page: “13.II.1912—please correct and return to me, J. B.” -Page 33: “16.II.1912—please proofread carefully (?) J.B.” -Page 145: “Feb. 29, 1912—proofread and return J. B.” MC Provenance -Jurgis Kasimirovitch Baltruchaïtis (1873–1944), Lithuanian diplomat and poet. -Their son, Jurgis Jurgissovitch Baltruchaïtis (1903–1988), historian. -His wife, Hélène Baltruchaïtis (1908–2004), née Castel-Focillon, daughter of Henri Focillon (1881–1943). -Then through descendants.
