Portrait of a noblewoman with her powdered hair pinned up, wearing a blue dress, in an oval frame. On the reverse, a handwritten inscription—partly illegible—attributes the work as follows: “My great-grandmother Christiane Graper de Failly, née Cajar, died 1832, married to Gustav Wilh. Graper de Failly (1777–1832)…” Craquelure. Frame has minimal dents. See photos for condition.
