Oskar Koller (1925 Erlangen - 2004 Fürth), Flower Meadow, signed and dated 1985 Colour-intensive composition by Oskar Koller, an important representative of German post-war modernism. The watercolour depicts an abstracted flower meadow in bright, fresh colours and impressively illustrates Koller’s characteristic combination of gestural lightness, decorative formal language and harmonious use of colour.
