An expressive, highly stylised portrait of a woman with flowing hair and lips accentuated in intense red - a combination of elegance, minimalism and graphic conciseness characteristic of Gruau’s work. Printed on vélin paper, signed in pencil at the bottom and numbered ‘57/700’ from an edition of 700 copies. Also bearing the ‘Mourlot M Paris’ dry stamp. Frame dimensions: approx. 83.5 × 63.5 cm; sheet dimensions: approx. 57.5 × 47 cm. In very good condition, framed to a high standard.
