Exceptional Art Nouveau Pocket Watch, Tobias, with Niello Silver Case, circa 1900 Elaborately crafted Art Nouveau pocket watch in 800 silver, front and back covers with niello decoration, marked "Niel" inside. Enamelled dial with a small chip at 4 o'clock and very fine, stable hairline cracks. Otherwise very attractively designed with Roman numerals as well as apparently hand-drawn Arabic numerals. Small seconds at 6 o'clock. Diameter of the watch: approx. 52 mm (excluding crown). Weight: approx. 94 grams. Striking metal watch chain, partially enamelled. The watch is functional. Attractive condition.
