Fine Ladies’ Pocket Watch, 14K Gold, Rose-Cut Diamonds with Watch Chain, circa 1920 Fine ladies’ pocket watch decorated with two swallows and delicately worked branches. The swallows set with rose-cut diamonds, the eyes presumably amethyst. Watch case with three covers in 14K, 585 gold, each marked on the inside. Diameter approx. 26 mm (excluding crown). Weight of the watch: approx. 17.53 grams. Finely crafted gold watch chain. Slightly indistinctly stamped “585”, tested with acid and XRF, higher alloy of 18K, 750 gold. Chain length: approx. 75 cm. Chain weight: approx. 24.50 grams. The watch is functional and in good condition with light signs of use.
