Jean-Élisée PUIFORCAT (1897–1945) Silver centerpiece with an octagonal, stepped body enclosing mirror panels and a removable circular receptacle made of silver plated metal in the center, featuring solid, grooved internal handles. Two wide bands with continuous grooved decoration extend onto the central receptacle. Signed in full on the front, with the silversmith’s master’s mark and hallmark on each piece, and a square hallmark on the reverse of the receptacle.
