Dutch school of the XVIII century. "Landscape". Oil on canvas. Relined in the 19th century. Frame of the nineteenth century. Presents old restorations and lack of polychromy. "W. KOEKKOEK, 61". Apocryphal signature. Measurements: 82 x 112 cm; 113 x 143 cm (frame). This 19th century bucolic scene combines rural tranquility with the distinctive inspiration and imprint of the Dutch painter Willem Koekkoek, who, unlike his landscape relatives, gives central prominence to architecture. In the painting, the stone bridge and dwellings are not mere props, but visual anchors that transform the everyday into a picturesque monument, highlighting human interaction with the environment through a masterful use of light on the aged textures.
