Spanish school of the early twentieth century "Fishing boat on the high seas". Oil on canvas Signed "J.Navarro" in the lower left corner. It has slight loss of paint on one side. Measurements: 60 x 100 cm; 90 x 133 cm (frame). In this maritime scene, a precarious fishing boat struggles to stay afloat in a rough sea. The composition, dominated by the violent movement of the waves and the foam that furiously hits the wooden hull, transmits a palpable sensation of tension and fragility.
