Set of two crucifixes, mid-20th century. Iron, patinated bronze, and enamel. It exhibits wear consistent with age and use, as well as scuffs, oxidation, and isolated areas where the patina has worn away. Measurements: 26 x 27 cm and 14 x 11.5 cm (Christ figures); 82 x 62 cm and 36 x 20 cm (crosses). This set consists of two crucifixes in a modern style, crafted through an expressive combination of iron, patinated bronze, and enameled details. Both pieces reinterpret the traditional iconography of the crucified Christ from a perspective reminiscent of mid-20th-century religious sculpture, featuring stylized figures, a simplified treatment of anatomy, and a pronounced sense of materiality. The white and bluish enamels of the perizonium introduce a luminous accent that softens the severity of the set and reinforces the handcrafted character of the pieces.
