Very rare. - This large-format map by the Augsburg engraver and cartographer Tobias Conrad Lotter depicts the entire Russian Empire during the reign of Catherine the Great. The upper central section features a richly decorated title cartouche, with two additional illustrations in the lower two corners. - Originally folded, with tears along the folds. Slightly stained. Overall in good condition. Copperplate map with hand-colored borders and areas, printed from three plates.
