The poses, weapons, and clothing are identical, though there is individual artistic freedom in the additional color scheme and artistic execution, particularly with regard to the background. Fifty-one of the collection’s original 59 portraits are present. Based on the aforementioned work, 13 of the 14 Hungarian dukes and 38 of the 45 Hungarian kings are included. - Each with a Latin inscription. - 18 plates (Hungarian kings) were numbered by a later hand (18th century) and provided with brief notes in Hungarian. - An exceptional and colorful ensemble, characterized primarily by intense shades of blue, red, green, and yellow. - The sheets are somewhat dusty and slightly stained, in places rubbed and with minor surface wear on the edges; overall, they are well preserved.
