Browned seal impression; in places, slight brown and fingerprint stains; corners and edges partly slightly creased; otherwise generally well-preserved. - Also included: Friedrich Wilhelm IV’s commission as Major General in the Corps of Engineers for the same individual. With the king’s (1795–1871) original signature. Ibid., May 10, 1848. 3 pp. on 1 double sheet.
