Reverse: American eagle with outstretched wings holding an olive branch and arrows, surrounded by a wreath; inscriptions “UNITED STATES OF AMERICA,” “IN GOD WE TRUST,” and “ONE DOLLAR.” Private mark “O” in homage to the former New Orleans mint.
