308 - Riccardo Gori (born in 1960)

Riccardo Gori (born in 1960) Vase Porcelain with crystallized enamel decoration Artist’s monogram on the reverse Date of creation: 2019 H34 D29 cm Almost as wide as it is tall, this 2019 vase features a generous body, ideal for the formation of large crystals. Across its expansive surface, the crystallized glaze unfurls in star- or fan-shaped patterns, like frost flowers frozen in glass. Riccardo Gori has created a composition of great richness here, where the vase’s understated form recedes in the face of the surface’s vitality. A recent piece, signed with the artist’s monogram.
