Anna Demidova Neon Green Vase Hand-molded Terracotta, glazes, mixed media One-of-a-kind piece H24 L24 D32 cm Water-resistant The title “Neon Green” evokes a bold, luminous color reminiscent of urban signage and the artificial glow of neon. Anna Demidova applies this color to hand-molded terracotta, an ancient and warm material, creating a contrast between the tradition of pottery and a decidedly contemporary palette. The glazes and mixed media technique give the surface a distinctive depth. A unique and functional piece, the vase is part of a new wave of ceramics that is revitalizing the color palette of handcrafted objects.
