Le Corbusier and Pierre Jeanneret Standardized N.V. bedroom cabinet Clarté Building, Geneva, circa 1932 H 180 W 50 D 50 cm Designed for the Geneva industrialist Edmond Wanner, the Clarté Building takes its name from the light that floods its apartments through large glass facades. The built-in furniture, conceived as standardized fixtures, contributes to this rationalization of the living space. This cabinet, in a deep green reminiscent of the “English green” from *Polychromie architecturale*, rests on a lighter olive-green base that stands out clearly; a small metal knob opens the solid door. A piece of architect-designed furniture, linked to a major building of the Modernist movement.
