Grond Studio Hanna Chair Plaster and pigment 2023 H23 L26 P26 cm With Hanna, Grond Studio takes plaster—a studio material typically associated with casting and sketching—and transforms it into a functional object. This low chair, cast in a single piece, features a compact, almost block-like form that resembles both a stool and a small sculpture. The white, matte surface of the plaster gives it a quiet presence, reminiscent of the aesthetic found in sculptors’ studios. An accessible piece that can also serve as a side table or pedestal.
