Fabrice Ausset Webwood Side Table Cast steel Year created: 2018 H68 L62 P79 cm Part of the Webwood series, this 2018 side table uses cast steel to evoke the image of a woven canvas—a metaphor for the network and the spiderweb so dear to Prévert. The metal, though dense and heavy, takes on the appearance of a light, almost organic interlacing pattern that plays on the tension between strength and lightness. A piece designed for the home, it offers a glimpse into Fabrice Ausset’s sculptural world.
