154 - Brigitte Thomy

Brigitte Thomy Chalice No. 2 Vase Ceramic One-of-a-kind piece Date of creation: 2025 H20 D30 cm The second piece in the Chalices series, this work features a wide, shallow bowl whose shape evokes both sacred vessels and the large bowls found in studio ceramics. The numbered series allows Brigitte Thomy to explore, from one piece to the next, subtle variations in diameter, curve, and surface texture, much like a musician reinterpreting a theme. Placed on a table or console, the bowl makes a statement with its calm presence and generous proportions.
