Elisabeth Garouste & Mattia Bonetti, Vase, trinket dish, and sculpture Bronze Blome Edition 1994 In good original condition, with slight wear to the patina Élisabeth Garouste and Mattia Bonetti were a design duo active from 1981 to 2001. They are known for their “Barbare” furniture collection and for designing the interior of the Christian Lacroix fashion house in 1987. They also worked for Daum, Bernardaud, the Néotu Gallery, and the En attendant les barbares Gallery. Their work is part of the French design movement of the 1980s and 1990s, alongside that of Philippe Starck, Olivier Gagnère, and Migeon & Migeon.
