Robin Grugeaux Goerges Vase Single-flower vase Patinated and varnished brass One-of-a-kind piece 2026 D13.5 H4.2 cm With its low, flared profile, this single-flower vase subverts the usual proportions of a single-flower vase: rather than an elongated neck, it features a brass disc from which the stem emerges as if from a body of water. The patina, set with a varnish, gives the metal a warm, nuanced depth, far removed from the brilliance of polished brass. Created in 2026, this one-of-a-kind piece illustrates the young designer’s fascination with small, handcrafted metal objects that straddle the line between metalwork and sculpture.
