(16) A large-scale, powerful painting featuring a mass of paint breaking in from the right, which appears almost sculptural due to its strong relief. - On coarse burlap. - Inscribed on the reverse with the work number “307,” a directional arrow, and the exact date “Paris Mercredi 5 Juin 1957.” - Very well preserved on the original stretcher and mounted in a simple black studio frame. - Formerly in the collection of Gustav-Adolf and Stella Baum, Wuppertal. 97 x 131 cm Horst Egon Kalinowski (Düsseldorf 1924 – 2013 Düsseldorf)
