Etching, approx. 205 × 267 mm (each plate), 252 × 320 mm (each sheet).Fine, sharp impressions, with deep black tones and plate tone, printed on laid paper with watermark (letters and cross; crossed letters C surmounted by a crown). Sheets with margins beyond the platemark. Landscape with Two Men Carrying a Trunk has a vertical printing crease at the centre of the composition and another incidental crease along the left edge, but is otherwise in very good condition overall. The other sheet is in very good overall condition, except for a few small stains in the margins.
