Maino, “Gaetano Gandolfi’s ‘Capricci’ of Heads: Drawings and Engravings”, The Burlington Magazine, vol. 136, no. 1095, 1994, pp. 375–79, no. 54.Very fine, fresh impression, with strong contrasts, printed on laid paper with watermark. The sheet has some folds, light brown stains, a tear at the upper centre and another along the right margin, repaired on the reverse with paper patches. A cut at the upper centre. Other short tears along the margins. Nevertheless, overall in good condition.
