Jordi Cano Cunill came into contact with the Catalan artistic avant-garde at a very young age, becoming interested from the beginning in the plastic arts as well as in theater and poetry, and joining various poetry groups. In 1979 he came into contact with the theatrical group Els Joglars, collaborating in various productions. He has participated in several solo and group exhibitions in Vic, Ripoll, Granada, Cuenca and La Coruña. His work navigates between abstraction and a peculiar figuration, of synthetic character, both in form and in the use of color, sometimes close to informalism. In this sense, his work is also interested in the drip, the scribble, the informal stroke that reveals the corporeality of the artist and chance.
