JOAN CORNELLÀ (Barcelona, 1981) “Abolish people.” The Hidden Collection. Bronze. Edition 16/25. With a certificate of authenticity issued by the artist. It has a small flaw on the back. Comes with the original box. Measurements: "Abolish People" is part of "The Hidden," one of the limited-edition sculpture series created by Joan Cornellà in 2023 in collaboration with DDT Store. The collection consists of seven figures cast in bronze and produced in a strictly limited edition of 25 pieces per model, making these pieces particularly sought-after within the artist’s collectible universe. In this work, Cornellà translates into three-dimensional sculpture the graphic language that has made him one of the most internationally recognized contemporary Spanish artists. His characteristic figures, with their naive appearance and impassive expressions, are hallmarks of his work, contrasting with the title *Abolish People* and creating a blend of dark humor, absurdity, irony, and provocation. Joan Cornellà Vázquez is an illustrator, cartoonist, and contemporary artist. Cornellà began to gain notoriety through his publications and comic books, collaborating with media outlets such as *El Jueves*, *Le Monde*, *The New York Times*, and *El Periódico*. His visual universe has since expanded into painting, sculpture, limited editions, and art objects, achieving widespread international recognition, particularly through social media.
