Illustrated with 15 original full-page black copperplate engravings by Maurice Leroy and woodcut typographic ornaments by Dan Sigros. Enriched with an original pencil and pastel drawing on the half-title page, with a dedication by Leroy dated 1949 to Dr. Hurez. One of 475 copies numbered on Marais vellum. Stain on p. 157. Case slightly detached at the base.
