Yehuda NEIMAN (1931–2011) Faces After 1968 Photographic projection on sensitized canvas 100 x 65 cm Signed lower right “Neiman” We would like to thank Mr. Emmanuel Neiman, son of the painter Yehuda Neiman, for confirming the authenticity of this work. This is a photographic projection on sensitized canvas, in this case with a blue toning. Yehuda Neiman had developed this technique as early as 1961–62; the diffraction process visible here, however, refers to a method developed after 1968, involving the use of prisms he acquired during his stay in Japan.
