École Professionnelle Tramelan - School Watch (*) A rare, antimagnetic vintage graduate's wrist chronograph with a tritium "Panda" dial, 45-minute counter, tachymeter, and decimal scale Movement No. 2293, Ref. 12012C, Cal. Valjoux 23, Case No. V 1321A, Dimensions 37 x 41 mm, circa 1970, Origin: Switzerland Case: Steel, screw-down back. Dial: Black, silvered inner bezel, “T SWISS MADE T” signature at 6 o’clock, luminous baton hands. Movement: Manual-winding. This model was sold in the 1960s under the same reference number and equipped with the Valjoux 23 caliber from Vulcain as the “Skindiver” model. The École Professionnelle Tramelan was a vocational school in Tramelan, Switzerland, which was particularly renowned for its training in precision engineering and watchmaking. Today, the name is best known for vintage school watches and chronometers produced by graduates or trainees of this academy as part of their final projects. Case: very good. Dial: very good.
