IWC / International Watch Co. - Portugieser Jubilée A rare, elegant wristwatch, produced in a limited edition of 1,000 pieces in stainless steel to commemorate the 125th anniversary of International Watch Co. in 1993 Movement No. 2498654, Ref. 5441-002, Cal. 9828, Case No. 2565459, Dimensions 42 mm, circa 1993, Limited to 296/1000, Origin: Switzerland, Original box, Original certificate, Accessories, original steel clasp Case: Steel, glazed push-back. Dial: Silvered. Movement: Manual. To mark its 125th anniversary in 1993, IWC launched a limited edition of the Portuguese watch, inspired by the original model from the 1940s. The series included 250 platinum pieces, 500 in rose gold, and 1,000 steel watches; it featured an oversized 42 mm case with applied Arabic numerals in gold and gold-leaf hands. The exquisite movement is adorned with beautiful Geneva stripes and catches the eye through the transparent case back. Case: very good. Dial: very good. Movement: very good, in working condition, cleaning recommended.
