Dial: Solid silver, rhodium-plated. Movement: Automatic. The LANGEMATIK PERPETUAL Sax-0-Mat is the first mechanical wristwatch to combine a perpetual calendar with the Lange outsize date. The perpetual calendar automatically displays the correct date, day of the week, and month. It accounts for the varying lengths of the months, including leap-year adjustments. The model also features the L922.1 Sax-0-Mat caliber movement with a reset function for the second hand, known as ZERO RESET. The second hand automatically jumps to zero when the crown is pulled out, hence the “0” in the name “Sax-0-Mat.” This timepiece has spent the last few years untouched in a safe, and a layer of gold oxide has formed on the case. This is highly prized by collectors; however, it can easily be removed by polishing the surface. Case: very good. Dial: very good. Movement: very good, in working order; cleaning recommended.
