Maße: H. 43 cm, B. 33 cm, T. 30 cm. Georg Curt Bauch 1887 Meißen – 1967 Brione sopra Minusio (Schweiz) 1910–14 Studium an der Kunstakademie Dresden bei R. Diez, unter dessen Obhut er sich im Meisteratelier für Plastik weiterbilden durfte. 1917–29 Errichtung eines eigenen Ateliers in Dresden–Loschwitz mit angeschlossener Bronzegießerei. Ab 1918 Beteiligung an der Großen Deutschen Kunstausstellung. 1933 Ablehnung der Mitgliedschaft in der Reichskulturkammer. 1943 Emigration in die Schweiz, wo er als Bildnismaler und Bildhauer für Bildnisbüsten sowie Tierplastiken tätig war. 1950 Rückkehr nach Dresden. 1957 Übergabe des Ateliers an den Bildhauer W. Landgraf und endgültige Übersiedlung in die Schweiz.
