Jeweils monogrammiert "GS" bzw. signiert "GStengel"und datiert, verso teilweise betitelt, mit Werknummern und mit Widmungen versehen. Teils auf Untersatzkarton montiert. Gerhard Stengel 1915 Leipzig – 2001 Dresden 1933–36 Besuch der Werkmeisterschule in Leipzig. 1934 wiederholt in Haft wegen illegaler politischer Arbeit. 1940–42 Studium an der Akademie für Bildende Künste und Buchgewerbe Leipzig. 1942–45 Weiterführung des Studiums an der Akademie für Bildende Künste Wien, Meisterklasse von C.
