Günter Horlbeck "Waldgeister" – Sieben Zeichnungen. 2000. Günter Horlbeck 1927 Reichenbach (Vogtland) – 2016 Leipzig Felt-tip pen drawing auf kräftigem Bütten. Jeweils mit dem Künstlersignet bzw. signiert und datiert "00". Sechs Blätter rückseitig in Blei signiert und datiert. Ein Blatt betitelt "Waldgeister (weiblich)". Maße: 59,5 x 41,8 cm. Günter Horlbeck 1927 Reichenbach (Vogtland) – 2016 Leipzig Deutscher Maler und Grafiker. Absolvierte 1942–47 eine Lithografenlehre, welche jedoch durch Einzug zum Militär unterbrochen wurde. Anschließend studierte er bis 1951 an der Hochschule für Grafik und Buchkunst in Leipzig, unter Walter Arnold, Max Schwimmer und Ernst Hassebrauk. Ab 1952 Freundschaft zu Max Schwimmer. Danach war er als freischaffender Künstler tätig. Lehrte 1952–1993 an der HfBK Dresden. Seine Werke lassen sich dem abstrakten Expressionismus zuordnen. Vorbilder waren Beckmann, Picasso und Kandinsky.
