Veit Hofmann 1944 Dresden Collage und Tempera auf Torchon. In Farbstift ligiert monogrammiert und datiert "VH 93" u.re. Verso o.li. in Faserstift betitelt. Maße: 78,2 x 56 cm. Please note that according to German law there is 2,5% ''droit de suite'' of the purchase price on top of the premium. Veit Hofmann 1944 Dresden 1960–67 Lehre und Tätigkeit als Buchdrucker. Wird in seinen frühen Werken durch die Künstler Helmut Schmidt-Kirstein, Wilhelm Lachnit, Max Lachnit, Hermann Glöckner und Hans Jüchser beeinflusst. 1967–72 Studium an der Kunstakademie Dresden, u.a. bei Gerhard Kettner und Herbert Kunze. Arbeitet seitdem als freischaffender Künstler. Studienreisen in die Sowjetunion, nach Polen, Bulgarien, Ungarn. 1974 Mitbegründer der Galerie Nord. Seit 1985 Atelierwohnung im Künstlerhaus in Dresden-Loschwitz. 1988 Erfindung der Telefonkunst für die ehemalige DDR gemeinsam mit Otto Sander-Tischbein. 1994 Studienaufenthalt mit Stipendium in den USA. Zahlreiche Ausstellungen im In- und Ausland. 2015 Installation "Anemophile" in der Städtischen Galerie Dresden.
