Annemarie Balden-Wolff, Figur und violettes Quadrat. 1966. Annemarie Balden-Wolff 1911 Rüstringen – 1970 Dresden Collage. Auf Untersetzkarton montiert, darauf in Blei signiert und datiert u.re. "Balden-Wolff 66". Maße: 24,3 x 15,9 cm, Unters. 26,2 x 17,5 cm. Please note that according to German law there is 2,5% ''droit de suite'' of the purchase price on top of the premium. Annemarie Balden-Wolff 1911 Rüstringen – 1970 Dresden Studium an der Fachschule für Textil- und Bekleidungsindustrie. 1933 emigrierte sie nach Prag, wo sie 1937 dem "Oskar Kokoschka Bund" beitrat. 1939 floh sie mit Theo Balden nach London, wo erste Wandteppich-Applikationen entstanden. 1947 kehrte sie nach Deutschland zurück und führte diese Arbeiten weiter.
