Das Werk wird in das in Vorbereitung befindliche WVZ Pigur aufgenomen. Verzeichnet / ausgestellt in: Walter Jacob, Arbeiten 1908–1962, Ölbilder, Mischtechniken, Aquarelle und Zeichnungen. Ausstellungskatalog Karl & Faber, München 1986. S. 20, Kat. Nr. 35. Maße: 72,5 x 50,8 cm. Walter Jacob 1893 Altenburg/Thüringen – 1964 Hindelang/Allgäu 1919 Beginn einer Ausbildung als Dekorationsmaler in Meerane. In jener Privatschule Bekanntschaft mit dem Kuehl-Schüler E. Müller-Gräfe aus Dresden. 1916–21 Studium an der Dresdner Kunstakademie bei R. Sterl. Ab 1925 Reisen nach Rügen, Kärnten, München und Österreich und Jugoslawien. Lebte bis 1945 in München und anschließend in Hindelang im Allgäu.
