Maße: Pl. 21,5 x 14,7 cm, Bl. 28,2 x 21,8 cm. Georg Ehrlich 1897 Wien – 1966 Luzern Österreichischer Bildhauer, Maler und Grafiker. Besuch der Wiener Kunstgewerbeschule, Weiterbildung in München und Berlin. 1938 Emigration nach London. 1940/41 als "feindlicher Ausländer" interniert und von seiner Frau getrennt. Die Bedrohung des eigenen Lebens und die deutschen Luftangriffe auf England prägten sein zeichnerisches und plastisches Werk dieser Jahre. Schuf das Mahnmal "Pax" zur Erinnerung an die Zerstörung von Coventry.
