Absolvierte 1972–75 eine Lehre als Offsetretuscheur und besuchte die Abendschule der HfBK in Dresden. In den Jahren 1975–81 war Fleischer als Verkäufer, Gärtner, Lagerist und Restaurator tätig. 1976 erste Einzelausstellung in Dresden, arbeitet seit 1981 ebenda als freischaffender Künstler. Gründete 1983 zusammen mit Petra Kasten und Andreas Hegewald den Leitwolfverlag, 1996 den Schlüsselbundverlag. Ausstellungen in Dresden, Berlin, Leipzig, Cottbus, Frankfurt am Main. 1991–96 Gründung der Galerie "Blaue Fabrik" mit Sigrid Walter und Thomas Haufe. 2005 Hans Theo Richter-Preis.
