In einem vergoldeten, gekehlten Rahmen. Maße: 46 x 54 cm, Ra. 57,5 x 65,5 cm. Valdemar Kornerup 1865 Kopenhagen – 1924 wohl ebenda. Erste Ausbildung durch den Vater, ein Grafiker. 1881–85 Studium an der Kunstakademie in Kopenhagen. 1887–88 Reise nach Frankreich und Italien, 1890 nach Italien und Spanien und Griechenland, 1895 erneut nach Italien. 1898 erste Studienreise nach Norwegen, Übersiedelung dorthin 1899–1902.
