1801–1824. MANUSCRIPT. (EXECUTORY DOCUMENT—ISABEL II). RECORD OF THE SURNAMES BODET, MODET, ACUÑA, AND EGUZQUIZA. BAPTISM, MARRIAGE, AND DEATH RECORDS, AS WELL AS SERVICE RECORDS OF THE INDIVIDUALS TO WHOM THEY REFER. Pen-and-ink title page with a decorative floral design framing the surnames. This is followed by a beautiful two-page family tree where the lineage begins with Pedro Bodet, steward to the Viscount of Ager; in 1295, Bodet received from the viscount the title of Castellano de Font de Pou, with the obligation to provide a horse and armor to serve him. This title would be inherited by all his descendants. The family tree extends to 1824. The following pages list baptismal, marriage, death, and birth records dating from 1674. It contains blank pages separating the different sections; everything is written in the same hand on unlined paper. At the end are the service records of various individuals who make up the lineage. Bound in half-leather, with watermarked paper pages. [More:] DECREE CONCERNING THE BODET SURNAME AND THE TITLE OF CARLAN OR CASTELLANO OF FONT DE POU... Decree on stamped paper from 1801, all in the same handwriting and initialed. At the end are the corresponding signatures; issued in Barcelona on November 23, 1801. Bound in parchment, with stitched reinforcements on the spine and the handwritten title superimposed on the front cover. Two volumes on paper dedicated to the same surnames. Some are transcriptions of older documents and attest to a title dating back to the 13th century.
