18th century. MANUSCRIPT. (NOTARIAL DOCUMENTS). COLLECTION OF NOTARIAL FILES CONTAINING INFORMATION FROM VARIOUS LOCATIONS IN CATALONIA. The first collection, bound with a hemp cord, consists of approximately 800 pages of documents written in Latin in standard 18th-century handwriting. They are bound and have a parchment cover bearing the inscription “Per lo Camp Gran” or “Riarany.” This is followed by another bound set consisting of three sheets relating to purchases and sales, inheritances, dowries, etc., in La Bisbal; one of the documents is written on an old parchment in Gothic script and in Latin. It includes a few transcriptions on parchment from the previous century. Another small folder in this collection pertains to Cruhilles. It includes a marriage contract between two residents of Calella and a land survey conducted in Cardedeu. This lot is rounded out by another large file of over 1,000 pages containing handwritten documents from the late 18th and 19th centuries, including all types of notarized documents: dowries, marriage contracts, deeds of conveyance, inheritances, renunciations, etc.
