ca. 1470–1490 MANUSCRIPT. (FRAGMENT FROM A BOOK OF HOURS). A HANDWRITTEN AND ILLUMINATED PAGE FROM A BOOK OF HOURS. Manuscript on parchment, measuring 10 x 7 cm. Written and illuminated on both the front and back. Probably French; text in gold and floral illumination in green, blue, red, yellow, and gold. Thirteen lines of text on each side, nine initials in gold and blue. The text corresponds to Psalm 85, which belongs to the Office of the Virgin and is therefore taken from a Book of Hours. It is framed, with a view from both sides.
