Two-color title page, with a woodcut border, showing a small loss at the upper tip. Abundant contemporary handwritten marginal notes. Margins are trimmed short, especially the top margin; this does not affect the text block but does affect the upper edge of the woodcut on the title page. Damp-stained edges. Bound in Spanish-style paperboard, with raised ribs, a solid spine, a label, painted edges, and a superlibris featuring an “L” with an “S” intertwined within a quatrefoil border. Palau 51240.
