Bound in full leather, with gold thread on both covers and dry-stamped decorations, a rounded spine, raised bands, and gilt edges. THE LIFE OF OUR LORD JESUS CHRIST (by LIGNY), bound by BRUGALLA in full leather, with gold wheels on both covers, the IHS monogram on the front cover, raised bands, a solid spine, gilded edges and headbands, and gilded cuts. Some scuffing on the covers, but no tears or peeling. THE WAVERLEY GALLERY OF THE PRINCIPAL FEMALE CHARACTERS IN SIR WALTER SCOTT'S ROMANCES (NY, 1860). A beautiful, unsigned full-leather binding with blind-stamped and gilt decorations on both covers, gilt edges, headbands, raised bands, gilt edges, and exquisite endpapers; it shows some slight peeling. A lovely set of three leather-bound volumes.
